Ethical Fair Chase Hunting

We promote ethical fair chase hunting. All hunting is on foot with minimum disturbance to the game and environment.

Please note: We do not allow giraffe, waterbuck, or reedbuck to be hunted.

Included in the hunting price

  • Use of cold room
  • Hunting vehicle for drop-off and collection of animals
  • Wood: 1 bag and 1 boma bundle included per night (if applicable)

Quick Notes

  • Hunting must take place at least 200m away from a vehicle
  • No alcohol allowed prior to or during a hunt
  • A guide must always be present throughout a hunt
  • A wounded animal is charged at full tariff (not negotiable)

Hunting Rules & Regulations

  • Compulsory to sight weapons at shooting range before hunting.
  • We prefer that all firearms are equipped with silencers.
  • Overseas hunters will forfeit the meat.
  • Hunting to take place at least 200m away from a vehicle.
  • No alcohol allowed prior or during a hunt.
  • A guide must always be present throughout a hunt.
  • A wounded animal is charged at full tariff — not negotiable.
  • Always adhere to weapon safety rules.
  • Please be responsible with littering and smoking to prevent veld fires.
  • Feel free to tip deserved cleaners and field guides.
  • Please feel free to report any problems to enable us to rectify accordingly.
  • Hunters are required to discuss what they want to hunt and quantities.
  • You will be required to complete our indemnity form upon arrival.

Neither management nor parties pertaining to the farm accept responsibility for any damages, accidents, loss of life or property during your stay at Tugam.
